What is Color Analysis?

Color Analysis is the process of determining which colors naturally compliment your unique features— your skin, eyes, and hair— so you look more vibrant, balanced, and harmonious.

At IN COLOR by Laci, we use the Drops de Cor, 12-season, method of color analysis to determine your color season using the three dimensions of color— temperature, value, and chroma.

Color Analysis is less about “Rules” and more about alignment.

When you know your best colors, you look enhanced without having to add anything extra to your face. Everything in your wardrobe starts to mix and match more easily, and you invest in pieces you’ll actually wear.

Hi, I’m Laci, and I am the color Analyst at IN COLOR by Laci!

I am a born-and-raised Texas girl. I’ve only ever lived in Texas, and I, honestly, wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. I am a proud Texas A&M University alumni. I was an elementary and middle school teacher before staying home to raise my babies. I am a wife to my college sweetheart and mama to 4 beautiful children. I love being with my family, enjoying good Tex-mex and a margarita, being on the beach, and antiquing. When I am not in the color studio, you can find me playing chauffeur to my kids and their activities, reading a good book, or watching some good ol’reality tv.

I have always loved fashion and color. Art was always one of my favorite subjects in school. However, somewhere along the way- beneath diapers and sleepless nights- I lost a little bit of that spark. Enter: Color Analysis. I had my first analysis, and I was hooked. My obsession with color analysis became a passion to help you see yourself IN COLOR, in full-focus, to regain that confidence and clarity in yourself and your wardrobe.

This is an IN-PERSON appointment for one person.
Session duration: 90 minutes
During your one-on-one color analysis session, we will discover the colors that LIGHT you up from within, taking the guesswork out of choosing clothing, makeup and accessories.

Session Details:
- Color Oracle activity- We relate the science of analysis to color psychology, and the emotional aspect of colors.
- Draping in the Drops de Cor method of color analysis in a 12-season system
- Your seasons double-sided color palette fan- one side is the colors and the other side is makeup, hair, color combos, best colors, best version of black and white
- Makeup review of your everyday makeup products
- Try out lipstick and blushes in your color season
- Personalized makeup card with a list of products you tried in your session
- Photos in your best colors
- Hair analysis to determine best and least flattering hair shades
- Digital Color Guide to your season with 100s of makeup products aligned to your season, hair suggestions, digital color palette, and other valuable information to help you better understand your color season.
- A digital guide for the next steps after finding your best colors.
How to prepare for your session:
- No sunburns, tanning, or self-tanner within 2 weeks of your appointment as this can affect your results. Your skin needs to be its normal shade.
- Please come to your appointment without any makeup or skincare on.
- If you wear glasses, please wear/bring contacts or be prepared to remove your glasses.
- Please try to wear a low neck collar shirt.

Session duration: 30 minutes to 1 hour
This is a great option for men and those who just want to know their best colors and season.
This is an IN-PERSON appointment for one.
During your one-on-one MINI color analysis session, we will discover the colors that LIGHT you up from within, taking the guesswork out of what colors flatter you the most. There is NO hair or makeup review or application in this session.

- Draping in the Drops de Cor method of color analysis in a 12-season system
- Your season’s color palette card
- Photos in your best colors
- Digital Color Guide to your season with 100s of makeup products aligned to your season, hair suggestions, digital color palette, and other valuable information to help you better understand your color season.

How to prepare for your session:

Three is a party! Grab your friends or family and let’s find out your best colors together! This group session includes a shortened version of a full analysis.

Session Details:
- Draping in the Drops de Cor method of color analysis in a 12-season system
- Your season's double-sided color palette fan- one side is the colors and the other side is makeup, hair, color combos, best colors, best version of black and white
- Bring your makeup bag for review of your everyday makeup (about 10 min/person)
- Try out lipstick and blushes in your color season
- Photos in your best colors
- Digital Color Guide to your season with 100s of makeup products aligned to your season, hair suggestions, digital color palette, and other valuable information to help you better understand your color season.
- A digital guide for the next steps after finding your best colors.
How to prepare for your session:
- No sunburns or self-tanner within 2 weeks of your appointment as this can affect your results. Your skin needs to be its normal shade.
- Please come to your appointment without any makeup or skincare on.
- If you wear glasses, please wear/bring contacts or be prepared to remove your glasses.
- Please bring a hair tie or wear your hair up and off your face, in a low bun or ponytail, if possible.
- Please try to wear a low neck collar shirt.
